Before Bridge & Beacon, my daughter Jaylen was falling behind in reading, and I didn’t have the time or money for a tutor. Between my two jobs, helping her with homework felt impossible. Then her mentor, Ms. Rivera, started meeting with her twice a week – first at the library, then online. Within four months, Jaylen jumped two grade levels in literacy. But the real gift?
